Raw Silk Bridal Lehenga for Barat USA — Zarin Rosha by HBO
Some garments are made. Zarin Rosha was composed — the way a master musician composes: with structure, with tension, with the understanding that every element must serve the whole.
The Lehenga — Pure Raw Silk, Fully Hand Embroidered
Constructed in pure raw silk (80gm), the Zarin Rosha lehenga is a panelled construction — each panel individually hand embroidered before assembly, ensuring the motif language flows unbroken across the full circumference of the skirt.
The embroidery programme combines the two most demanding techniques in the Atelier vocabulary: aari work for the flowing botanical field patterns, and zardozi for the raised, dimensional accents that catch light from every angle. Supporting these are zari, nakshi, and dabka — metallic and dimensional threads that build the visual depth of the full jaal surface.
The lehenga closes with a thick border panel in tissue, worked in the same zari, nakshi, and dabka vocabulary with graduated sequin sizing — a finishing detail visible only upon close examination, and unmistakable once seen. One layer of cancan lining gives the skirt its structural flare without compromising the silk’s natural drape.
The Choli — Full Jaal, Front and Back
The raw silk choli carries a complete jaal embroidery field — front and back, without interruption. The deep V neckline creates the silhouette anchor, while a keyhole detail at the back provides a considered counterpoint. Elbow-length sleeves are finished with antique borders and concentrated sequin work.
Every stitch on the choli was placed by HBO Master Artisans using the same aari and zardozi techniques as the lehenga — ensuring the two pieces read as a single, unified composition.
Two Dupattas — One Ensemble, Two Statements
Dupatta One — Indian Zari Tissue: Three yards of dull red zari tissue, its surface scattered with hand-embroidered small paisley booties and all-over sequin work. Four-side hand embroidered borders in matching vocabulary. Worn draped, it completes the bridal composition with heritage weight.
Dupatta Two — Pure Tulle Net Veil: Three yards of deep red pure tulle net, borders worked in hand embroidery on tissue appliqué. Designed to be worn as a veil — lifted at the moment of arrival, it transforms the entrance into an event.
Two dupattas. Two moments. One ensemble.
