The 4-Step HBO Measurement Process
Our measurement process is not a form — it is a structured consultation conducted by our atelier team. Here is what happens from the moment you place your order.
WhatsApp Measurement Consultation
After your order is confirmed, our atelier team initiates a direct WhatsApp consultation. We send you our structured measurement guide — 12 precise body measurements — and walk you through how to take each one correctly at home, with a measuring tape.
Master Artisan Measurement Review
Your measurements do not go directly to cutting. They are first reviewed by our lead Master Artisan, who cross-references your figures against the garment's construction requirements and your stated occasion. If any measurement appears inconsistent, we contact you before proceeding — not after.
Bespoke Pattern Draft
Once measurements are verified, our pattern team creates your garment's draft from your exact figures. We do not use standard size blocks and adjust — we draft your pattern from your dimensions, treating your body as the original specification.
Pre-Dispatch Quality & Fit Verification
Before your garment is packed and dispatched, it undergoes a formal fit verification on a dress form calibrated to your measurements. Our quality team signs off on structural fit, seam integrity, and embellishment security before the package is sealed and insured for dispatch.

How does HBO guarantee fit when I cannot come for an in-person fitting?
Our guarantee is process-based, not promise-based. Every garment is cut from your individual measurements — not from a standard size block. Before cutting begins, your measurements are reviewed by our lead Master Artisan. Before dispatch, the finished garment is verified on a dress form calibrated to your measurements. These three checkpoints — not a verbal assurance — are the guarantee.
What if I have never taken my own measurements before?
Our atelier team guides you through every measurement via WhatsApp. We send visual reference guides, answer questions in real time, and will ask for a re-measurement if any figure appears inconsistent. You do not need prior experience — you need a measuring tape and our team on the other end.
Does HBO use standard Pakistani clothing sizes?
No. All HBO garments are bespoke — made-to-measure from your submitted dimensions. We do not stock or ship pre-made standard sizes. Every commission begins with your measurements and ends with a garment built around them.
How much time does the measurement consultation take?
The measurement consultation typically takes 20–30 minutes via WhatsApp — including receiving our guide, taking your measurements, and sending them back to our team. We respond with verification or follow-up within 24 hours.
What happens if my measurements change between ordering and delivery?
We recommend informing our atelier team immediately via WhatsApp if your measurements change during the construction period. Depending on the stage of construction, our team will advise whether an adjustment to the pattern is still possible. Early communication is always the most effective solution.
