Red wedding saree — crimson georgette, hand-embroidered at the Multan atelier
There are sarees you buy. Then there are sarees the room turns to look at. This red wedding saree, cut from deep crimson georgette and finished with a multi-band antique-gold border, is the second kind. Hammad Bespoke Official crafts each piece at our atelier in Multan, Pakistan — made to your exact measurements, shipped insured to your door, wherever you are in the world.
The georgette ground carries a field of scattered Zardozi and Tilla floral butti — small, precise, each one hand-placed. The border is the statement: five distinct bands of Resham, Zardozi gold-wire work, and sequin-set detail, finished with a hand-scalloped outer edge. A matching full-sleeve blouse in the same crimson georgette is included in every order, custom-tailored to your measurements.
This saree sits equally well as a bridal saree for bride and as formal occasion wear for a wedding guest who wants to hold the room. Browse our full saree collection for the complete range.
Red wedding saree — fabric and construction detail
Georgette is chosen for this piece for its drape and weight. Unlike stiffer fabrics, georgette falls in fluid pleats, allowing the border embroidery to frame the body naturally when draped. The fabric is sourced from Faisalabad mills — the same textile centre that supplies South Asian couture traditions documented by the V&A Museum. The blouse lining is finished in ivory satin for comfort against the skin.

The atelier’s craft
Zardozi, Resham, and Tilla — the techniques behind this red wedding saree
Zardozi is gold-wire needlework with roots in the Mughal imperial court — each motif built by pulling metal thread through fabric with a hooked needle, then anchoring it by hand. On this saree, Zardozi forms the primary border band and each butti across the field. The Master Artisan at our Multan atelier has worked in Zardozi for over two decades; the chalking, laying, and finishing of each motif is done entirely by hand before any thread is cut.
Resham — silk-thread embroidery — fills the secondary border bands in tight satin stitch. Tilla work, using flat metallic wire rather than twisted cord, adds the flatter geometric passages between Resham fills. Together, the three techniques give the border its depth: raised gold at the outer edge, flat Tilla geometry in the centre, Resham silk colour in the inner bands. The total hand-embroidery time on a complete saree and blouse set runs to approximately 80–100 hours across multiple artisan stations at the Multan atelier.
Bespoke customization and fit
Every order begins with a WhatsApp fitting consultation. We record 40 measurements — bust, waist, hip, sleeve length, shoulder width, blouse back depth, and more — before a single stitch is placed on your blouse. The Bespoke Fit Guarantee means nothing ships until fit is confirmed. For diaspora customers in the USA, UK, Canada, and UAE, we conduct all consultations via WhatsApp, with measurement guides sent in advance. The saree fabric length is standard six yards; the blouse is cut and finished to your measurements only.
Colour customization is available on request — the same embroidery can be applied to a deep wine, forest green, or navy georgette ground. WhatsApp us before ordering to discuss options. For customers who want a complete bridal look, our red bridal saree offers a heavier embellishment level for the wedding day itself.
Worldwide delivery and garment care
Every order ships insured from Multan to your address — USA, UK, Canada, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and worldwide. Standard production time is 6–8 weeks from measurement confirmation to dispatch. The saree and blouse are pressed, folded in acid-free tissue, and packed in an HBO garment box. For care: dry clean only. Store flat or rolled — never folded at the border — to preserve the Zardozi wire work.
