Jamawar suit — ivory net, crimson brocade, Zardozi and Kamdani
There are bridal commissions that photograph well. Then there is a jamawar suit that walks into the room and changes it. Built on an ivory net kurta over a crimson jamavar brocade azaar, this ensemble from Hammad Bespoke Official, Multan, carries a Zardozi chest medallion and a kamdani floret jaal dupatta with crimson and antique gold borders. A Zardozi velvet potli with seed pearl tassels completes the set.
The craft — Zardozi and Kamdani
Zardozi uses raised metal wire couched by needle — Mughal-era goldwork, handworked by a Master Artisan on the chest panel and cuffs. Kamdani is flat metal strip pressed into the dupatta net, catching light without adding weight. Both are part of our embroidered suit collection in our Pakistani formal wear range.
